A multi-summit access trail up in one of the Eagle River neighborhoods. During late summer, this gets busy as people go out to start picking blueberries. In the mid and early summer, you'll find people making short trips up to Iron Nipple and Blueberry Hill to the left or Tucker Point and Mile High Peak off to the right. This is also a great spot to park a vehicle if you want to do the Baldy to Blueberry Hill Ridgeline. Pretty sure it's in the 20-ish mile range. Great late-summer all-day trip if you're up for the challenge.

On the other side of the Eagle River Traverse, this offers less parking compared to Mt. Baldy side. If you want less people on the trail this is the way to go. The route to Mt. Magnificent is about the same in length and elevation as Mt. Baldy trailhead to Black Ptarmigan Rocks. (6 miles 3200ft out and back)

Great trail if you're prepared! Bring plenty of water, basic first aid and supplies. Make sure you wear good boots and bring the trekking poles. Footing gets harder and harder to find and much of this trail is very vertical and steep. The views are priceless and breath-taking, if you do it right. This isn't a last minute hike it's an adventure!

Very little space to park but an epic trail. We did Mt. magnificent (using AllTrails route) and it was beautiful. Some slick spots from rain but very manageable.

A favorite for residents for a quick hike up or as a starting point to the higher peaks. It is beautiful to walk out into the saddle from the trees! Even though it is short it is steep and there are many roots, be careful. Read guidebooks, trail maps and check other sources for best routes to any other peaks, traverses or loops. I never know exactly where Eklutna land is, so I bring my permit just in case.
