Took the orange trail to High Falls. The trail is simple and easy to follow, but not stroller or mobility restricted friendly for people with limitations on climbing up and down large rocks and narrow pathways. It was a quick 2.23 miles to the falls and back from the Simmons middle school trail head. There are several other trails to take in the area if you want to make a day of it, but the rain picked up pretty heavy, so we cut the rest of our day short.

This is a very nice trailhead with plenty of paved parking. Please be aware: when you go down the steps at the beginning, take a right! That takes you to the Moss Rock Preserve. If you take a left, the trail will become overgrown with fallen trees and it's hard to continue. Otherwise, this puts you on the orange trail where you can see the high falls, the natural bridge, power line, and rock house. There are plenty of rocks to cross the river on, has some great shade, and is a good place to see some nice birds. It's free and a great workout with a little elevation gain!

Some of the largest rocks I’ve seen, each covered with a variety of mosses and lichens. Not paved or surfaced in any way, easy walk or hike with more challenging areas available. Definitely lives up to its name.

Nice park. Facilities are portalets. Some easy trails, some moderate. Some great rocks and multiple small waterfalls.

It's a free adventure, I wouldn't recommend bringing young children though, 9 years or older would be fine. My son and I had a great time exploring and parkouring the trail and rocks.
