3 weeks agoWe arrived at Ditto Landing around 7:00 AM on January 6, 2026. The weather was cloudy and in the high 50s. Abby and I set out on a clockwise loop of over 7 miles, covering the Tennessee River West Greenway, the local neighborhood, and the Aldridge Creek Greenway before returning to Ditto Landing. The greenway trails were in excellent condition, though "Beware of Alligators" signs were posted in several spots. We encountered a few people on the Aldridge Creek Greenway, all of whom were courteous and friendly. Finished the loop back at Ditto Landing, watching the morning activity of fishermen and boaters at Ditto Landing. A truly enjoyable morning walk for a perfect start to the day!

2 years agoNice view of the river, I usually bring a walking stick because of a possible gator. I've never seen one here... yet.
