Been here hiking just a few times over the years. Definitely a great place to hike, but honestly prefer the Brandywine area, though it's still a very secluded, well-kept system of trails. A bit annoyed that there's a higher fee for out of staters, that's really parochial, 19th century pre automobile thinking. I mean, happy to pay a small reasonable fee for helping to keep nature well preserved. Just seems really antiquated, especially given there's only 2 places in the entire state of Delaware worth hiking, to charge people from out of state more money. That said, enjoy the trails - which are easily navigated and well-marked both on the trails and on apps like Alltrails. While relatively easy area for hiking, lots of interconnected trails, so you can get to ten miles or more by looping around.

Wonderful park! I was here a few years ago. I like how clean it is and that there was no trash. There was a tractor, so I knew that they grew crops.
