a month agoWe absolutely love this space. The staff is friendly, engaging and always helpful. Perfect set up for imaginative play, water table, climbing on the structure, exploring evolving exhibits, reading in the cozy space, building Legos, and enjoying art with a cool twist of projecting your work on the screen. It's not a huge area, but this is desirable when chasing multiple kiddos - I find the size nice for keeping up with my 2 and 5 year old. The gift shop also has a great selection of items and affordable snacks, drinks and coffee! There's a bathroom perfect for all sizes as well as a nurse room. Not only a Musuem, but a movement - there is so much programming with HCM and they are always out and about in the community. Truly a gem to this city.

4 months agoWhile smaller than others I have been to, this was great. My daughter loved the water activities. We were there during their underwater theme. They had scavenger hunts for different age levels. We were visiting from out of state and my daughter wanted to go there two days in a row. Price even without the assistance discount was really good. Kept her occupied for at least 3 hours one day. Staff was super friendly and engaged her in conversation about what she was either building or drawing. I would go again if we are in the area.
