3 weeks agoMy husband and I went here for a friends wedding recently. I’ll say this, the place is cute and the bride and groom areas are awesome! Large and plenty of space to get ready and stuff. And the Thai spring roll appetizers were AMAZING! I still dream of them! Now. It was a winter wedding with snow outside. The area we were sitting had cold air blowing from a vent. And the chicken! My husband and I got sick because it was under cooked. Like still raw pink. We know several other people got sick too. Spring rolls: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Chicken and temperature control: -⭐️

4 weeks agoI attended a wedding here this past weekend, beautiful venue, beautiful couple. I’ve given more grace than this venue is worth with two stars. During the reception, my husband had to dispose of my chicken because it was RAW inside. I got a different piece but it seems that doesn’t matter because…. Within 4 hours of eating the food prepared in their kitchen, my 13 month old son vomitted in the car on the way home, nearly asphyxiating. After 6 hours he had vomitted 7 times. Next was my husband who is currently recovering from a heart surgery, had intense vomitting and gastrointestinal distress requiring emergency medical care. After a short hospital stay, we know it’s food poisoning as a result on Salmonella exposure. I became violently ill within 12 hours of the event. Now, I know what you’re thinking, “well what about the cake?” It’s funny you should ask! We didn’t have cake. Have also learned that there are 56 other guest who experienced these same symptoms. Two of which we know had hospital visits. As far as I know, they’ve deflected blame. I sure hope they’re able to take accountability the way a respectable business SHOULD.

4 weeks agoWas part of the bridal party at Milton Ridge. This place is small! Not like what the photos portray. The chapel is barely big enough for the bridal party to walk down. Lots of ice (wedding was in December) and we were told to “be careful”. Not to mention that everyone got food poisoning from the catering. Owner refuses to take accountability for the issue. They tried placing blame on the company that made the cake. My husband and child did not eat the cake. My 10 month old is so sick from the small bites of food that he ate. I spent 10 hours projectile vomiting. Absolutely would not recommend this venue. Stay away! A happy event turned into a horrible memory for my family. One family member even ended up in the hospital from being so ill.

a month agoHad my special day at Milton Ridge. My wife Tracey booked it and I didn’t know what to expect but was pleasantly surprised. The staff were kind, Meaghan helped my wife plan the entire event, and I got to pick the food at the tasting. It was delicious, I recommend the chicken florentine and the basmati rice. Great place and value.
