2 months agoThis was my second stay at the Pioneer Guest Cabins. My girlfriend and I stayed here on a girls trip a couple years ago and loved the place. I wanted to share the experience with my husband. We stayed for a couple days to hike in the area of Crested Butte. The cabin we stayed in (Doubletop) was clean and very comfortable. The cabins are small by comparison to hotels these days, but it is a cabin and not supposed to be huge. The cabin was decorated and had everything you could need. There was a gas fireplace, a wood stove, and a fire pit and picnic bench. There are games, books and puzzles in the office you can borrow. Most important was the shared hot tub! There is a heated shack to change in beside the hot tub. My husband even brought his fly fishing rod and got in a bit of fishing at the creek before we headed out for our hikes. We had no cell service in the area, but each cabin had wifi in case you panic to disconnect. The owners are environmentally respectful and you can see when you chat with them, they love where they live and want to take care of the land/environment. We LOVED our stay and will be going back!!

4 months agoSo much wonderful. The cabins have everything you could need. The hot tub is divine. The hikes in walking distance are amazing. We hiked trail heads around Crested Butte as well as right out our door.

4 months agoThe Pioneer Guest Cabins are an excellent hideaway near Crested Butte! We were only there two nights, but would have loved a few more! The cabin was fully stocked for our ability to cook and stay comfortably. The hosts were wonderful and so friendly. The area trails were beautiful and excellent for a hike with our dog. I highly recommend checking them out!
