If I could leave no stars I would. I called and texted ahead on Friday trying to make an appointment for the following Wednesday to get passion twists. Via text they confirmed that they would be able to provide the hair for the passion twists and do them for $160. On Wednesday I go for my appointment, and they ask if I have the hair for the passion twists, I say no and show them the text messages where the person I spoke to (Omar?) said that they would provide the hair. They said that I needed to provide the hair, which again I had text messages confirming that they would provide it. The braiders in the shop then tried to tell me they had run out of synthetic hair which is why they couldn’t provide the hair for the twists, they then called another shop to see if they had any hair they could use. The other shop said they didn’t have anymore synthetic hair but they did have human hair but that would be an additional charge of $40. They then told me I would have to pay the extra charge for the human hair to do the twists. I explained how I was frustrated and confused about how I had called and texted ahead of time to book this appointment at the agreed $160 and they would provide the hair, but now they are trying to make me pay extra for their mistakes? They then said that I would still have to pay for the human hair. I did not get my hair done and left because that is ridiculous. If they had told me I had to bring my own hair period I would have done so but you can’t just spring this additional charge on me especially since it’s not even my mistake. (Also the Google maps and phone number are switched and it was a hassle just trying to find the location. The phone number I had called and texted was attached to one of their other locations and I had to text the number again to get the right address)

I hate that I have to give such a bad review because I love my hair but my experience was horrible. I came in and was seated immediately but she tried to convince to do a simpler style because she didn’t want to do the hairstyle I wanted and when I said I could just go to another person or salon she reluctantly started my hair. I had to wait like 15 minutes between each braid for my braider to talk eat and other things. After her stopping my hair to start someone else’s I had to tell her she needed to finish my hair and not hop around because that’s not what I’m paying for. After she finished the front I had another braider come up to me and asked if I would mind waiting because no one in the salon knew how to do twist so someone was coming from another salon. I said ok because I wasn’t willing to change my hairstyle, but after 40 minutes, I threatened to leave and the girl magically shown up. When she started my hair, I don’t know what happened, but the whole salon started stinking like a pipe broke or something. After having my shirt over my nose for a few minutes, I asked if they can move my seat because the smell was too bad. After rolling her eyes and sucking her teeth, One of the braiders went and sprayed air freshener and lit a candle. After finishing my hair, I paid, and when they saw there was no tip because of all the inconvenience my first braider sucked her teeth and started talking about me In French. I left but I would not suggest this place to anyone and I will not be coming back

Very disappointed in the lack of professionalism at this place. I texted and called ahead about the hairstyle I wanted and asked about the promotional sale they had at the time. When I arrived, the man at the front told me a completely different price than what I had been quoted over the phone. When I showed him the contact for the person I had spoken with, he called them and then told me he was the person’s “uncle”. He then told me the service would be $160 and directed me to sit in the first chair. After waiting, I was told I’d have to go to another location because, and I quote, “the stylist doesn’t feel confident enough to do the style.” I’ve never heard anything like that before. What makes this worse is that I showed the style from the very beginning, which is when I was first told the promotional price wouldn’t apply because the sale had ended. The entire experience was unprofessional and confusing from start to finish.
