River Room at Burning Bush Brewery

Greetings from a local wedding photographer who absolutely adores this venue and everyone on their team! Not only have I captured some of my favorite wedding galleries at River Room due to all of the beautiful spaces on the property with amazing lighting, but their team is full of some of the kindest people I’ve had the pleasure to work with in the Chicagoland area. I remember at my first ever wedding here, the owner took the time to personally show me around and gave me the freedom to get creative around building. He even let the couple and I into the room with the giant brewing tanks to take some really unique shots! Not only is the main dining room a beautiful modern space, but it also opens up to a stunning patio that overlooks a really lush stretch of the Chicago River. You can host your ceremony and/or cocktail hour out there and have a breathtaking sunset through the trees as the backdrop. There’s also the private suite that is completely decked out with the coolest furniture and serves as a fantastic space for getting ready photos. My clients have raved to me during consultations about how over the moon they are about their experience with everything from start to finish at the River Room. Booking with them means your wedding be in fantastic hands, you will be working with people who will make you feel like they genuinely appreciate you and your business, and your big day will be held in a truly stunning space with the best vibes. Our wedding was so beautiful at River Room! We loved the venue space, flexibility to have an indoor or outdoor ceremony, and the brewery vibe was perfect for us. The location is wonderful, too. Monica was lovely to work with. She was available to any questions we had via email throughout the planning process. We had around 100 guests with no wedding planner or Day of Coordinator. We would recommend hiring a Day of Coordinator for any weddings larger than 100!

We hosted our wedding at the River Room end of October and it was the most perfect venue!!!! Monica & team were so incredibly helpful from the start all the way to making our wedding day perfect!!! The venue is so beautiful on it's own and we had so many compliments from our guests loving the indoor & outdoor features. Choosing to get married here was the best decision!!!!(plus their beers are also incredible). Thank you River Room for making the planning process and our wedding day so perfect, thank you thank you!!!!!

I absolutely love this venue! I had my baby shower here and it was nothing short of perfection. I gave Alex, the sales manager, my vision and she brought it to life with ease! She was so easy to work with, kind, thoughtful, flexible and talented at what she does. The actual room and property the venue on is gorgeous and perfect for any weather, but if it’s nice out they have an amazing outdoor space overlooking the river. I’ll definitely be booking future events here!

The River Room is one of the best wedding venue finds in Chicago. The moment I walked into it, I knew it was going to be where I got married. The actual space is stunning with the exposed brick, tons of natural lighting, and the patio outlooking Horner Park and the river. Every one of the vendors recommended by them was an absolute hit and the beer tasting at our final walk through was a real treat. Monica was a super star in making sure I had all my questions answered and that every detail was executed on the day of. We got married in the River Room in November and absolutely lucked out with weather. We were able to have the ceremony outside overlooking the river and it was gorgeous with the changing leave colors. We took pictures at Horner Park prior to the ceremony (highly recommend!!). We also got ready in the bridal suite, which was perfectly set up for hair and makeup and came with a lot of treats. We ended up taking a lot of photos in the bridal suite too since it was so beautiful. We added on the champagne toast to dinner, but held off on the space heaters and fire pit because of the nice weather- though we loved having the option if needed to make sure we could utilize the outdoor space. Lastly, our wedding was 120 people and the space fit it perfectly. We had 13 tables with a sweetheart table fit in there no problem with still a ton of space for mingling and dancing. There was definetly room for more people and tables if desired. I loved our venue so much and wish I could redo the whole day, thank you River room!!
