Sabri Nihari Restaurant stands out as a top choice among Pakistani restaurants in Chicago, celebrated for its rich and authentic culinary offerings. Known especially for its melt-in-your-mouth beef nalli nihari and tender lamb chops, this restaurant provides a feast of flavors that satisfy even the most discerning taste buds.
Guests rave about the aromatic lamb biryani and the perfectly flaky laccha paratha, which complement the robust curries beautifully. The refreshing mango lassi and mint lemonade are perfect accompaniments to the meal, while the soft rasmalai offers a sweet finish to your dining experience. Attentive and polite service enhances the welcoming atmosphere, making it an ideal spot for both casual meals and special occasions.
Despite the bustling location, the generous portions and consistency keep patrons returning again and again to enjoy the best of Pakistani cuisine in a friendly and inviting setting.

in the last weekCame here with my wife and in laws and was my first time really with Pakistani cuisine. Incredible food. Phenomenal portions and super quick service. The servers are ON TOP of everything and super attentive. The chicken chargha is my new favorite food and the haleem was so flavorful. Biryani was delicious and naans & parathas came out hot and fresh with everything.

in the last weekRecently I been to Sabri Nihari few times, we were more then 5 in our group, every time we went to eat we got 18% gratuity and 10+ percent tax. I noticed if you go in there either you are two people or eight people. They only will serve you one plate of salad and two small bowl of sauces and may be one extra jug of water nothing more. If they are going to charge 18% extra on your food they should serve at least one extra plate of salad. I really hope they also consider 18% gratuity as an extra income to their restaurant, not just pocket it. Herring. On the other note other than the nihari rest of the dishes are pretty plain. We ordered butter chicken and it seems like they pour one can of tomato sauce into some chicken and brought to us. They need to work on that dish especially. The nihari is good, rest of the dishes are same like Usmania. We ordered chicken platter it was not done and we were able to see raw parts of chicken so we told them it’s not done, guy took the platter and brought us back same platter and it was over done. I feel like if customer complaint about a dish at least fix it right or bring new one.
