in the last weekThe apartments are stunning—they're connected to two excellent schools: the senior and junior high schools. The bus stops right outside our building for the little ones. The apartments are beautiful, with lounges, amenities, a rooftop pool, a coffee shop on the ground floor, a reception desk, package delivery, a 24/7 doctor, a two-story gym, a children's playroom, arcade machines, a bowling alley, common areas, and a kitchen.

a week agoUPDATE on a different issue: Safety & Security: In case you read the 'good reviews' (mostly from short-term furnished rentals, &/or guest suites rented out like hotel rooms), & thought moving here would be as BEAUTIFUL as your FIRST impression...Read if you want any sense of SECURITY The Parker said they'd have more security in an app notice they sent about a "safety incident" here (the lady posted about it here. Click 'Lowest' to filter review results. She got pics of the guy). No one has seen any extra security. I've come in late from work w/ no one at the desk, & random men allowed to hang around the lobby playing dominoes for hours! I've been telling them for 2+yrs that flowers, notes, food etc were left in my hallway & my door multiple times. No one knows where I live & no one has ever been here. The front desk kept letting them up, when they are supposed to call first. Mgrs said they'd investigate every time & did nothing. It's really sad bc what happened to her (& others) was preventable & we pay for extra security. *I'm sorry 'Rachel', don't know you, but I'm so sorry bc I told them all multiple times. They have a sweet security girl who really tries to help, but she can't do much if a man tries anything, it's not fair to her either, put 2! You'd think after that, they'd have a big guy at the front so it's 2. When there is one, they always have to run upstairs or make rounds etc. They'll respond to this w/ "We strive..." yea yea copy/paste no real action. Ppl don't even bother anymore, they just leave sadly. We get groups of rowdy students allowed to rent instead. We'll keep fearing for our safety while the 5th property mgr in less than 3yrs was allowed to go on vacation w/ barely 2mths here, while issues are still happeninggg. No accountability since they keep the #'s of ppl above them a big secret, refusing to give it out. The parent company, Fitzrovia, has a voicemail. A receptionist has never answered for me, nor the 28 other residents who said they weren't called back. So concerns go nowhere, & things keep getting worse ----------------------------- Storage Lockers: I've lived here over a year. Lockers were advertised on the resident Parker App. I inquired, it took a wk for the new property manager to get back to me w/ no real info. I asked the concierge & she got back to me right away (Nina & Elena are great). The office wanted me to pay over $140+ in adv before I could access it, so I did that. Went to take things in the locker, & opened the door to the most vile smell, rodent droppings on the floor, a leak that made yellow & black stains on the floor & walls. Rubber pipes were sticking out of a rusted hole in the wall. (See Pics) I always pay the high rent on time, yet they haven't helped w/ any issues here, & I still can't get a clean storage area? Right away I messaged the new property manager the details, & that I need an immediate refund. Instead of doing it, he emails back & I don't get it until late the next day. He needs to "confirm" if I want it cancelled & refunded. I gave him the details again, & stated that I very clearly wrote "I want it cancelled & refunded" in the email the day before. That was confirmation already. He never even responded about how bad the locker was. He signs the locker rental agreement & 'manages the property', so he would've seen it. Next day another ad is on The Parker App "Lockers available for rent". Even if it was cleaned off/painted overnight, the damage was embedded in the wall. The pipe box, water damage, & droppings could risk someone's belongings &/or health. The other lockers were filled in that room (I have video, see pics below). The response they'll give below will be like "Sorry for the inconvenience, rest assured, we strive to, don't hesitate to contact us", but check the lower rating reviews, those issues are bigger now. I really wish things ran better here, b/c it's a beautiful space.
