a month agoIvan gave an excellent tour of the Fort Worth Stockyards. If you want to truly understand the history of the livestock industry of the stockyards, this is the way to do it. My husband and I really enjoyed the experience. We took the 10:00 a.m. tour, which ended right in front of the Fort Worth Exchange Building, perfect timing to watch the cattle drive that starts at 11:30. Highly recommend!

2 months agoWe joined the Cowtown Cattle Pen Maze walking tour through the Stockyards, and our guide Ivan was fantastic. He’s incredibly knowledgeable about the history of the Stockyards — the kind of guide who can bring a place to life with stories, context, and just the right amount of humor. His jokes and timing made the tour even more enjoyable, and you could tell he genuinely loves what he does. If you’re visiting the Stockyards and want to understand the real history behind all the dust, cattle, and cowboy lore, this walking tour is an absolute must-do. Highly recommended.
