2 weeks agoPhenomenal science museum!! Every exhibit has interactive elements and really engaged my 3.5 year old. There is a fossil dig/gemstone mine exhibit with fantastic volunteers teaching us about different fossils. The dinosaur exhibit had a lot of bones that you could touch. The Big Backyard room had tons of activities for the kids. The space exhibit had activities more suited for older kids, but amazing information and such cool displays! It comes as no surprise that Tellus is a Smithsonian affiliate - I highly recommend Tellus as the go to science museum if you’re in the Atlanta area. **Additional information** Stroller/wheelchair accessibility- it’s all one floor so very easy to access. Plenty of stroller parking at the fossil/gemstone activity. Food- No outside food or drink. There is a cafe with premade sandwiches, chips, cookies, etc. There is a pavilion outside - we will probably bring food and picnic outside next time! Parking- Plenty. Bathrooms- Changing table available in one of the stalls, stepstool at a sink for young kiddos.
