in the last weekSat for 30 minutes waiting on a $13 bread service which never came . Only 5 tables occupied at the time. Server seems lost just walking around and whispers when addressed.

in the last weekWalking in through open doors, we were surprised to be told they were closed. The tone felt short and unprofessional. Clear communication would have helped avoid confusion. We stayed at the bar to wait, but no one acknowledged us despite staff being nearby. It felt awkward and uninviting. Eventually, a polite young man assisted us and handled things well. However, the initial interaction had already set a negative tone for the evening.

in the last weekSensational scene in Summerhill! It was refreshing to seamlessly pull into a dedicated lot with free parking for customers. A quick hop, skip, and jump across the street and you’re at the entrance. We were warmly greeted and immediately seated for our 6 PM reservation. Josh delivered A-1 customer service from start to finish. Our group of five kicked off the evening with a variety of appetizers—the little gem salad and the maple roasted golden beets & carrots were standouts. I also enjoyed the breadbasket selections. The lamb burger helper was divine—and somehow even better reheated the next day. The vibe at the bar was lively and inviting. This was the perfect restaurant for our business dinner. It's also ideal for date night or just to chill with friends. I’ll definitely be back to support this Black-owned business and indulge in the mouthwatering cuisine again!

a week agoGreat food with excellent servings and flavors that pair well together. Atmosphere is nice too, with great music selections and nice warm lighting. The service left a bit to be desired, our waiter (white brunette lady with tattoos) was rude and short with us for no reason. Hated answering simple questions about menu items - it was our first time there. She was the worst part of the experience by far. It seemed like others were getting annoyed with her rudeness as well. She barely came to check on our table or the food, and would reply in one word answers. I think her name was Catherine. But regardless, worst waiter for such a good restaurant overall. I’d come back (but hopefully she’s not there).
