Located in Sunnyvale, the Basketball Courts at Fair Oaks Park offer a pleasant option for those looking to play in a neighborhood setting. While the courts can get a bit crowded during peak times, visitors enjoy the overall atmosphere of this well-maintained park. It’s a great spot for both casual players and those seeking a bit of competition, all within a welcoming community environment.

2 years agoWhy build such nice basketball courts just to outfit them with GARBAGE goals? The backboards are strangely tiny, the rims seem to be made out of thick cast iron, and it’s all attached to monolithic metal poles that vibrate for many tens of seconds after each brick you shoot. No wonder the fences are so tall around the courts. If you miss but hit the cast iron rim, the ball goes flying like it had been launched by a rocket. I will never go back to this abomination of a basketball park. The city should tear it down and put in a duck pond or something else that’s actually useful to anyone.
