2 weeks agoMBJJ has been such a great experience for both me and my 7 year old son. From the moment we walked in, everyone was super welcoming and made us feel like we’ve been a part of the community. My son absolutely loves going to class and his confidence has grown so much since he started. The coaches are a great balance of challenging while still encouraging them and making it fun. For me, I was nervous about starting something as a complete beginner but the classes have been awesome. The coaches are patient, supportive, and never make you feel out of place. I’ve actually started looking forward to training and has been a huge confidence boost for me too. We can’t say enough about coach Pedro and his team. As a parent and student a special thanks to coach K (Kaua) who’s a great instructor, knowledgeable, super friendly, and has high expectations for students. Thank you!

3 weeks agoWas looking to start my 8 yr old in Jiu Jitsu to help with his strength and coordination. We are new to the sport so wanted to find a place that was a good ecosystem for his development. Pedro and his team are exactly what we were looking for, they have the right balance of discipline, instruction, and fun. The coaches are top notch and my kid loves it.

a month agoI have three kids training at MBJJ, and it has been one of the best decisions we’ve made for them. It’s hard to find an activity that works for different ages and personalities, but Professor Pedro is amazing with all of them. It’s not just about fighting or self-defense; the focus on discipline, respect, and confidence is huge. The 'no-ego' culture that people talk about is real—even the older kids help the younger ones. As a parent, I appreciate that the facility (on Woodside Rd) is clean and the environment feels safe. If you want your kids to burn energy while learning real life skills that set them up for life, I highly recommend checking this place out.
