Key Food Urban Marketplace

I am a new customer to this location on Ave A. I live over a mile away but I started shopping here because I am impressed by the attitude of the workers I have encountered. The few times I called, I received friendly and helpful responses. Last Friday, I went to get 2 items but one item wasn’t available. I spoke to the area manager, Alex and he was pleasant and helpful. He told me he will order and asked when I can return to the store. From past experiences at another location, the worker and manager were clueless on the delivery schedule.They always had an excuse why the item may come or may not come due to holiday. For on sale items, if sold out on Friday, then no delivery until the following Friday when the sale ends. One manager even told me “just because the item is listed on sale doesn’t mean we have to have it in stock”. All I ever received was unreliable and rude service. Today I returned to the store on Ave A not knowing what to expect. I met up with Alex and he patiently opened up the boxes while I grabbed my preferred flavor. I was very impressed how I was treated at this location. I felt respected and that Alex cared about his customer to make sure the items were available as advertised. Seeing the items were available, I was happy, full of satisfaction. As I dragged the 30 cups to the counter, cashier, Utpola helped me sort them as she was quick. I met her on my first visit 3 weeks ago and she was friendly and helpful, just like today. I decided to write this review and share my positive experience at Ave A. Thank you Alex and Utpola!

Great prices and selection

Good selection of brand names and organic products. Prices are a little high, but can't beat the convenience.
