in the last weekThis is one of my regular trails for running, few takeaways: 1. Endless trail system for running, hiking, biking. Its all gravel gravel, going towards Mountain View is very smooth. 2. Section at the start of the trailhead is a bit uneven, but not too bad. 3. You can see magnificent sunset, with many view points. 37.420369,-122.021740 is my goto sunset view point. 4. You can also see amazing sunrise. 37.432023,-122.016812 is one of my favorites for watching sunrise. 5. You can do loops around east or west pond: the full loop around both of them is around 4 miles (6.4 km). 6. There is a water fountain very close to trailhead. 7. Generally see people throughout the day, but do bring a headlamp if running in the dark. 8. There is free street parking near the trailhead, but it tends to get full during popular times. There's free street parking in many other side streets. Overall, would definitely recommend checking it out!
