Perhaps one of the only hikes in Monument Valley. This one is not very crowded, yet it's well worth the effort! A well-marked and well-maintained loop of approximately 6 km (3 miles), with picnic areas and pergolas, on a sandy path, offering magnificent views of the valley! Allow about 2 hours for the hike. A very nice walk; it takes about 2 hours to cover the 6.5km. The end is a little more difficult as it's an uphill section in the sand, but otherwise it's very easy.

It's a great trail. The entire trail is a dirt path. It is recommended to wear shoes with good grip. Most of the trail is flat, and the ups and downs of the trail are not very big. It is easy to walk. The entire trail is about 7-8KM. We walked and took photos for about 2.5 hours. There are not many shelters on the entire trail. If it is a sunny day, be sure to bring more water. The trail is really beautiful and the signs are very clear. It goes around WMITTEN BUTTE. If you come here, you must walk it once.
