7 months agoFantastic place for anyone intrigued with space. Lots of history here regarding the moon landing and the Saturn V. Lots of exhibits and hands on activities for kids. The outdoor section had military vehicles and aircrafts, and a few free rides. There is also another building solely based on the Saturn V. For an additional fee, the museum offers virtual reality experiences and a few other small rides inside. A restaurant is located inside with a basic menu. However, you can leave the park and eat elsewhere and return the same day to finish up.

12 months agoI had the privilege of speaking with several engineers who worked on the Saturn V rocket, the spacecraft that propelled humanity to the moon. While some may question whether we ever truly reached the lunar surface, my conversations with these individuals provided me with a deeper appreciation of the immense effort, innovation, and engineering expertise required to achieve this historic feat. One particularly fascinating discussion was with an engineer who worked on the Saturn V’s guidance computer. He explained that it was the first silicon-based computer ever built, laying the foundation for modern computing as we know it today. Hearing firsthand about the challenges they overcame and the groundbreaking technology they developed reinforced my admiration for the ingenuity that made the Apollo missions possible.

7 months agoWe loved the rides and the park. The ASTC passport program made everything worth it all. I am a traveling photographer (Becca Liz Photos LLC) and my roots are from Huntsville. It was so fun to take my kids. Lots of kid friendly things, not to mention spectacular historic information and displays.

1 year agoWe took our pack 575 from Ga and had an incredible time. The best money you could possibly spend so affordable and we had an incredible guide. I would recommend skipping the cafeteria the food is expensive and subpar. $10 cheeseburger . $12 kids meal fries drink hotdog on stale bun. Grab Subway or pack of lunch. There were some actual rocket scientists that worked on many of the Apollo as well as space shuttle missions roaming freely to chat with anyone for no extra fee. many of these guys are published and give lectures to hundreds of people for a fee so we had a real bonus. Just the things that you learn about the space program are amazing.
