in the last weekThis is a fairly friendly trail. Basically, you're hiking up and back down a forest road. There is evidence of recent vehicle use. It's fairly steep in parts, but does have a break in the elevation occasionally. The path to the actual rock is off to the right as you intersect with the AT. You could miss it if your head is down.

6 months agoVery gorgeous hike with a stunning view in the fall. Look up for the sign to the on look cause you could miss it! Definitely not a beginner trail but still doable!

9 months agoThe traihead is the continuation of the gravel/dirt road past the water tank that is next to the parking area. Constant incline gaining about 1000 feet of altitude.
