Lake Harris North Dam is a captivating hiking area in Tuscaloosa that features a mix of relaxing spots and more adventurous terrain. The trail leading across the dam to the spillway offers a short, rewarding hike with beautiful vistas along the way.
Hikers are advised to be cautious on some of the narrower and steeper sections, but the stunning views and peaceful atmosphere make it well worth the effort. This area is perfect for those seeking both a peaceful nature escape and a bit of a physical challenge in an inviting outdoor setting.

7 years agoHit the trail and go across the dam to the spillway. Nice place. Relaxing. Well worth it. Short hike.

4 years agoThere's a lengthy dirt road that does get quite narrow toward the end. The views are gorgeous but there are some very steep drop offs on the trail so be safe!
