I stayed here for one night and when I got there it was late and really dark so I would recommend getting here when the sun is up. But my site was clean. I was tent camping and I couldn't find my flashlight but I was able to park my van to where I could see better. To check in late you just call the number and the lady answers pretty quick. I cant remember her name but she was very friendly and very helpful. Took a shower in the morning and the showers were clean so that was really nice. I was in lot 41 tucked away but in the daylight the camp site was nice and had pretty views around the park.

Edit: took me 6 years but we came back and it’s just as wonderful as I remember. Except for the humidity. Just spent 2 nights there. Excellent campsites. Hosts and rangers were very hospitable. Would definitely stay here again when camping in Tuscaloosa.

The camp attendants were awesome and friendly as it was my family's first time camping at this place and they were very helpful, nice and knowledgeable about the place

Paved campsites are w/e and mostly shady. Cell service for AT&T is decent, meaning 5G+3bars. Weather is currently hot, so I didn't check out the hiking trails. Bathroom is clean. Stayed 2 nights and it was peaceful and enjoyable.
