2 months agoGreat place to take the family. Especially if you have young kids. The beach area is perfect for young swimmers that you don't want going out too deep. My kids had a blast.

11 months agoWe start at the boat launch on the trail. The trail was hard and not used a lot but very well marked. Made it to the dam and back to the first parking area you pass coming down to the boat ramp. We walk back down the road instead of finishing the trail. It was getting later then had anticipated we will come back. This is a very challenging trail. Don’t let stop you. You got this.

9 years agoFun short trail. Hiked to the lock overlook but the trees had grown in so thick you could not see anything. Also saw a decent amount of trash along the trail.
