This is a great place to hike! It was fantastic to see so much nature all around, and the trail to Wickersham Dome was fun. There were some large spots of mud, though; bring boots. Also, be prepared to go over a lot of rocks.

Very well maintained trail not too far north of Fairbanks. Good spot to bring your dogs. Trailhead had vault toilets and decent parking. Hiked the trail in late May and there still were some muddy/ boggy spots.

Nice hike up to beautiful views. It’s downhill on the way back 😂. Huge gravel parking lot with clean pit toilets. Stayed in our truck camper overnight on our way up the Dalton Hwy. Good Starlink connection.

Nice drive to get here, about 45mins north of Fairbanks. Plenty of parking space, with restroom in lot. Fairly easy hike, nice 360 views of surrounding area. There are pockets of wild blueberry shrubs, partially wooden trail track to walk over where it gets muddy. Overall nice hike and views!

The trail was fun even though it was still covered in snow. Any step could end up being into the ground but it was worth the hike to see the amazing views from the top! Breath taking. The dog got into a tussle with a porcupine so be mindful that that's a possibility way up there.
