a week agoSuch a magical and uniquely Alaskan experience! Visiting the reindeer ranch was easily one of the highlights of our trip. The setting is beautiful and peaceful, and getting to walk among the reindeer was something I’ll never forget. The staff were incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and clearly care deeply about the animals. They shared so many interesting facts about reindeer, their behaviors, and how they’re cared for, which made the experience both fun and educational. And the reindeer themselves—so gentle, curious, and full of personality! Being able to feed them and interact up close was truly special (and made for the cutest photos). Everything was well organized and thoughtfully done. If you’re anywhere near Fairbanks, this is 100% worth the visit—such a memorable, feel-good experience! 🦌✨

2 weeks agoReindeers were lovely, but the overall activity was disappointing. We paid $120 expecting a two hour reindeer walk; however, most of the time (around 1.5 hours) was spent standing and listening to business-related stories and the reindeers’ background. Honestly, I would have preferred reading that information in a brochure instead. We only had about 30 minutes to actually interact with the reindeers. End of the tour, they offered hot chocolate and cookies and that was nice. Overall, it didn’t feel worth the price, and I wouldn’t choose to pay for this experience again.
