in the last weekAs far as state parks go, this park has the best Missouri River hiking in possibly the entire United States. The views are incredible. So much better than Iowa because you're actually on the river. The best section is the mile stretch between trailhead 9 and the cave spur, but you don't wanna hike up it, trust me. Go around the back and end at trailhead 9. The outer loop of trails is 16.8 miles, so if you plan to do it, you should know you're in for a 5-6 hour hike. There's a lot of up and down too.
