in the last weekNot worth the cost. The trail is poorly maintained, with collapsing rocks, fallen trees, and jagged wooden edges popping out from the steps. There are no quality viewpoints, lookouts, or photo opportunities. The trail is extremely narrow and difficult for groups, with limited ability for hikers to pass one another. The woman stationed at the entrance collecting fees left abruptly and only charged certain groups (including ours) while allowing others to pass without payment. The only views along the trail are of nearby houses and people on the adjacent golf course peeing in the bushes. I’m genuinely surprised this location has such high ratings.

a month agoThis trail is HARD. Bring plenty of water. And although it offers shade, it gets hot. Come early. My iwatch measured 6.48 miles. 59 flights of stairs. 4 hrs. 1448 elevation.

2 months agoIt's not made very clear, but this is not a public park. Charging $10 per person and per dog for access to a trail is unethical. Charge $10 for parking spots if you must. I can pay far less to walk the Mopac or 183 toll roads.
