a week agoI have been to the guru curry house many times, for both in-house dining and takeout. The food has been universally excellent, as has the service. My favorite dishes include Saag Daal, Fish Tikka masala, vegetarian masala, and shrimp curry. Everything is skillfully and exquisitely seasoned. I highly recommend this place.

3 weeks agoFirst time here and we tried the Himalayan menu. The Momos were huge and juicy and you get 10 to a plate. The dipping sauce was a refreshing, I don’t know how to describe goodness loaded with spices and mint and served cold. Hot Momo with cold sauce was a very nice contrast. Also tried the Coconut Lamb and the curry was heavy on the coconut side…which I throughly enjoyed over basmati rice. The gravy part was a little similiar to Indian Korma sauce but with coconut. We also tried the hand pulled noodles which was in a soup gravy. It is a dish meant for cold days, warming but lacked some flavor…kinda like it need an acid to bring out the intensity. We asked for our heat level to be medium but we didn’t really taste it except in the momo sauce. After we ordered it took a little while for the food to come out…restaurant wasn’t busy at all. I’m glad I tried it but next time, would only order the momos.
