in the last weekMy husband and I love it here! The food is delicious, the location is great, and the service is super friendly and efficient. They have indoor or outdoor seating in the summer. It's absolutely worth the wait if you go for brunch, but if you show up before 9 you're likely to be seated right away

in the last weeklet me start out by saying that i do not complain at restaurants. they could bring me the completely wrong meal and i’d still eat it and tip properly. however this situation really irked me, and i gotta say something about it. we went on a sunday morning, and it was only relatively busy. my fiancé got the ponchartrain(fried trout with poached eggs and hollandaise). within a few bites, he got a big chunk of eggshell. gross. the waitress stopped by soon after and asked how everything tasted, so we were honest. we told her he got a giant piece of shell in his eggs, and she giggled and said “well, sorry!” and walked away. no offer to comp part of the order or replace anything. not only is egg shell really gross and off-putting, but it’s also dangerous. he also later got a big bone in his fish and at that point was just completely put off from the meal. also, i got the potatoes with my breakfast and they were very flavorless. not a crime but it does suck for the prices this place charges. otherwise the food was just okay. i think this place is pretty overrated, VERY overpriced, and a bit unprofessional. i don’t think we’ll go back and i wouldn’t recommend it.
