a week agoGreat spot, great service, food excellent, and there's no pressure for dress code. The drinks are delicious but can get pricey quick. Definitely worth going and they open at 10:30AM on Saturday which is amazing.

a week agoThe service was great. We went on a Monday after noon during happy hour. Fair warning, The happy hour menus only applies to the designated bar areas. Our waitresses were very kind and accommodating. The still and sparking water were refreshing while we waited for our food. The bao buns were the main attraction. Everything was fresh and made to order.

a week agoNacho nachos were way overdone. But that’s not the reason for this horrible review. We spent almost $200 on lunch for a party of six. We come here once a month after the children’s museum and spend at least $100 every time we come. Today we came and spent 200 and brought extra family members and we brought a very small cake for our three year-old son‘s birthday. This restaurant wanted to charge us $18 to slice the cake. Three dollars per slice, they would not allow us to use a butter knife either to cut the cake. Again, this was after spending almost $200. I could understand if we had come in for just sodas and took up their time and table however, charging us three dollars per slice of a small birthday cake for our son when the restaurant was 90% empty is absolutely ridiculous. You have lost repeat customers. We will never come back. I have to update this review. I left the first part right after we left. Two hours later, my wife started experiencing what we have come to know as a severe gluten reaction otherwise known as food poisoning. She ordered the nachos and we were told it was gluten free. My wife told the server she has a gluten allergy. I called and spoke with Sam who told me it’s “impossible that cross contamination could’ve happened”… what? Impossible? In a kitchen that serves food that is also not gluten free? She said sorry she’s feeling sick but maybe it’s a stomach bug…….. uh, not how this disease works. Now unless my wife is tested for gluten poisoning, we can never 100% say anything but after 20 years of celiac disease, we know how the effects of this goes and this has all the signs and symptoms of such a food poisoning incident all the way down to the timing of the illness setting in. She hadn’t eaten anywhere else all day and we know these symptoms. It’s really a shame. My wife was poisoned at another restaurant a few months back for the first time in many years and they refunded the whole bill as an apology. This place says sorry it’s impossible we did it maybe she has a stomach bug? Really?? Hopefully we don’t need to end up sending an ER bill to them is she gets too dehydrated from all the diarrhea and vomiting for the next 24 hours not to mention the long term affect on her intestines. This place is a cute place and our services was actually very friendly. They do however seem to have a “rules and regulations” issues as others have stated in previous yelp and Google reviews along with the manager I fearing my wife may have a random sudden stomach virus 2 hours after eating there. What a shame such a cute restaurant is managed like this.
