in the last weekCame for a brunch this morning. Was not impressed with the food and especially not with the prices. Had to try it at least once though. The server was very nice and polite. The omelette I ordered was drier than a desert with brown marks from the heat like a fajita wrap. Also, the pancakes 🥞 were nice & soft but something was odd with the flavor. Not to mention the portable a/c units that weren't cooling the air enough. At least we tried this place once.

in the last weekI had been wanting to try this place for a while. Finally made it to the Windward side for my birthday and got to come here for breakfast. Our waiter was fantastic. Wish I could remember her name. She let me know the most cost effective way to spilt the cinnamon pancakes with my child and for us to still get eggs and bacon. The waiter was even more helpful to my mil who is allergic/sensitive to seed oils, which most restaurants use. She came back with a couple suggestions of what she could eat and then ammended it when she learned that the rice contains small amounts of oil as well. My mil was able to get a steak that was cooked on the cleaned grill and a bowl of fruit. She enjoyed her steak. I enjoyed my pancakes and my husband's omelet as well. Overall a lovely experience. Do be aware that bathrooms are located upstairs, and the restaurant readily supplies keys to access them.

a week agoCinammons restaurant Kailua location is on the other side of the island from their now closed previous Ilikai location. Inside seating is nice and cozy and they have patio seating in the central part of the plaza. We ordered primarily breakfast options and all of them were delicious. The skillet platter was good but one egg does not even out the rest of the meal. Should have at least two eggs for their skillet platter. French toast with mango fruit and whipped cream was good. The vegetarian eggs Benedict with spinach, onions and hollandaise sauce was good. Only downside was service was fairly slow and food took a long time to come out. However, overall the food was good and we had a great time. Bathrooms are shared with the plaza and are on the second floor. Parking is located in the plaza parking lot and paideter parking available on the surrounding streets.
