Locale Apartments

My wife and I lived at the Locale Apartments for almost 2 1/2 years. This is hands-down the best managed building we’ve ever lived in live previously in Boston, New York and other parts of the Bay Area. Julie, Osvaldo, And the entire staff go above and beyond to keep common areas immaculate make sure there’s always great community events like sushi nights and taco nights and are Always pleasant and friendly. I cannot recommend this place high enough and the location being close to downtown Redwood City and one oh one also still being quiet at night is amazing. Another important note is the fact that the owners are not a large commercial business like buzzoto, When they built this place, they built it with care and that’s reflected in the craftsmanship of the kitchen. The nice touches like the Bathroom mirrors that have automatically defog I have a Bluetooth speaker, And kitchens were real stone Countertops. If it wasn’t for my wife starting graduate school back on the East Coast, you would still be living here

My fiancée and I really enjoyed our time living at Locale Redwood City. The apartment building is well-maintained and always clean. Julie, the property manager, is very responsive, and any service orders were taken care of promptly. Osvaldo is especially quick and helpful! The location can’t be beat—everything downtown and the Caltrain station are within walking distance. We also loved the community events the complex hosts throughout the year, like sushi dinners and Cinco de Mayo ice cream socials. Overall, a great place to live!

I had lived here for over a year and it is honestly one of the best managed apartment complexes in the Bay Area. Common areas are extra clean and well maintained, the management is very helpful, and maintenance requests are typically resolved within a day. You will have zero headache moving here, would definitely recommend.

My stay at Locale apartments was the best in all my years of leasing apartments in US. Julie was so sweet and accomodating from day 1. She and Osvaldo make the community such a lovely place for all of us to call home. A huge thank you and shoutout to them :) Would highly recommend this community! Locale is also close by to everything one would need - caltrain, bus stop, freeway, restaurants etc.

I’ll start this off by saying this has been by far my favorite apartment complex. Consistently had a positive experience throughout my time here. The management team was always helpful, (shoutout to Julie & Osvaldo) professional, and responsive, making the entire process—from move-in to maintenance requests—smooth and stress-free. Maintenance issues were handled quickly and efficiently, which made a big difference in day-to-day comfort. The location is very convenient, with easy access to shops, restaurants, and public transportation, which made daily life even more enjoyable. The community was well-maintained and felt safe and welcoming. They held social events for residents and their dogs! (Loved this). Honestly, I would highly recommend Locale Apartments to anyone looking for a reliable, well-managed place to live. It was a great place to call home!
