in the last weekSo I am a yacht captain for a living, and we found Luce just on Google while we were docked at Waterside Marina. The service and the food were top notch! I had the rigatoni with mushrooms and sausage, and it was absolute fire. The starter bread they brought out was hot and delicious as well. I tried some of the other dishes my crewmates ordered and they were all fantastic as well. The Wild boar pasta, and the chicken penne with the goat cheese, cream sauce were to die for. Can’t recommend this place enough.

a week agoWe had a wonderful dinner here! Ordered the chicken with fennel sausage and roasted peppers, their version of chicken parmesean, the octopus appetizer, homemade evoo pasta, spinach and their mini cannolis- wow, so good! We also had leftover because their portion sizes were generous! You could tell their ingredients were quality.

2 weeks agoWanted a good Italian food stop to eat at to celebrate my birthday and discovered this gem. Which was delicious! First we started off with the Calamari and Peperoncini Salsa and it was the perfect amount of fried, some places fry calamari too long and it tastes mainly like the oil they fried it in but this was just the right amount of crispy and the salsa it came with was a perfect pair. Next we both ordered a drink I don’t remember nor did I really get a picture of what my boyfriend got to drink but my drink was the Luce Spritz which I substituted the gin for vodka because I am not a big gin fan and the drink sounded good so I just switch it up a bit but the drink was very tasty. For our main dishes I got the Rigatoni con Salsicce e Funghi and it was delicious, the sauce wasn’t too overbearing or runny and was the perfect amount or creamery and had the perfect amount of sauce where I could enjoy it with every bite. My boyfriend got the Smoke Salmon Arrabbiata and he really liked it, I tried it but I’m not a fan of smoked salmon so I was not too big of a fan but the sauce was nice, the waiter did tell us some of the dishes you could substitute out the protein for something else but some you couldn’t so if you come here just know that is also an option for some dishes. But overall we both really enjoyed our experience, though if you’re a person and you don’t like small places where your relatively close to another party you may be a little uncomfortable because it is a small building and the tables are decently close together, we sat on the patio which was a bit more spacious but I believe only a party of two can only sit out there but I could be wrong, but definitely a great place to try for a little date night!

2 weeks agoFun place. Very loud. Food is fresh and pasta made in house. No changes allowed just like Italia. The Rigatoni vodka was very good al Dante and the appetizers were on par. Waiter worked with me and found a good Cabernet. It is a little pricey but good food. Highly recommend. The bartender made some nice cocktails to order.
