I always worry about tap beer and the freshness. Val did a great job of explaining thier cleaning process and the beer was delicious.

April 2026 Update: use to be one of our favorite locations, however, the last few visits have shown over cooked steaks. We are happier cooking at home and will not return - not worth the money. One of my favorite locations for a high quality dinner. Cannot go wrong with the steak, ribs and quality cocktails.

This is a classic icon of Duluth..no fast food here all made from scratch. Steaks are the BEST because they are cooked on a real charcoal grill. Seafood specials are delivered fresh. I love the Pickwick and you will too. I always order the Barrel Cut Filet with a side of deep fried shrimp knowing that I will bring most of it home as it is just as good the next day. The staff is amazing and so are the owners. Always wanting to make your meal special if you have any requests within reason. The Picwick is over 100 years old and it is fasinating just to sick and look out the LARGE windows with all of the history around you.

I would have given this place a 10 but… The waitress was really good, the atmosphere very good…loud in the bar area but you could hear each other. We had drinks and Calamari app, that was excellent. Then I ordered a ribeye, w Gouda mashed potatoes and salad. Salad excellent. The ribeye was cooked perfectly medium rare but so SALTY I could barely eat it…too bad. The potatoes were also way over salted for us both. My wife got tenderloin tidbits w Gouda mashed potatoes and salad. Salad excellent. Tidbits were excellent flavor and cooked perfect. Potatoes way over salted. Prices are pretty spendy. I’d say it was a 7 out of 10 and would have been 10 if not so salty.
