2 weeks agoWe had a wonderful experience here! My husband and I opted to share several starters alongside one main course, and it ended up being the perfect amount of food. Everything we ordered was fantastic, and the overall vibe was perfectly chill. It's an excellent gathering place for a meal with friends and family.

4 weeks agoNot sure why the chicken is so famous. My tri tip was amazing. Trouble was I got my foos after the entire group had nearly finished dinner. Not sure what even happened because others in our grouo had steak on their plates and gor their food promptly. They did comp my meal, so that was something. Poor server was so sad. He kept apologizing. The corn fritters were.really yummy too.

a month agoI would have given this place a perfect score if only the meats were not a bit dry. Otherwise, the taste profile of each element of our order was extremely delicious. We ordered ribs and chicken with salad. Phenomenal taste and texture all through out. The two sauces that came with were excellent. Will go back easily.

a month agoOpting to sit outside in the outdoor seating parklet because of the beautiful weather turned out to be a great choice. The outdoor area at Spinning Bones is comfortable, exceptionally clean, and offers fantastic natural daylight that makes the food look incredible. It provides plenty of space and fresh air, making it a perfect setting for a relaxed meal. The meal kicked off with the sweet yellow corn fritters, which are every bit as good as they look. They have a perfect, satisfyingly chewy texture and taste amazing paired with the strawberry jam, creating a really nice, bright contrast between the crisp, golden-brown exterior and the sweet fruit. Next up were the smashed potatoes, which are an absolute must-order for the table—add these with the sour cream and you simply cannot go wrong. They come piled high with plenty of crispy, roasted edges, capped with a smooth quenelle of sour cream and fresh chives, all sitting over a rich, savory romesco sauce. For the main course, Trip’s Triple Platter proved to be an excellent choice for a high-protein option. All of the meats—the rotisserie chicken, slow-roasted pork shoulder, and sliced tri tip—were perfectly cooked and incredibly tender. The presentation on the tray is a literal feast for the eyes, smartly rounded out by a crisp napa cabbage salad and two excellent, vibrant dipping sauces, including a standout herbaceous chimichurri, that balance the rich proteins beautifully. The chocolate torte provided the absolute perfect ending to the meal. It is a dense, smooth torte sitting on a crispy oatmeal and puffed grain crust, topped with big flakes of Maldon sea salt that catch the light and cut through the rich chocolate. Overall, Spinning Bones delivers an excellent, flavorful take on casual rotisserie with a great balance of flavors and textures, and utilizing their outdoor seating was a fantastic place to experience it.
