6 months agoThis trail takes you up into the wild foliage of the forest outside of Bozeman. It is beautifully natural. There are some steep grades in a few places, plenty of switchbacks and there are narrow steep elevated dropoffs at some points. It is well traveled expect others. Keep your dog on a leash& please clean up after them(so much left behind dog poop), wear good shoes with traction. We made it to the first peak and I was done (90 minutes in) and the dog was tired but they are sweeping views of Bozeman (we had a hazy day), it also interconnects with longer hikes to other parts of the mountain on top. Water and a hat are recommended and be aware of other forest creatures.
