Here you are paying for the atmosphere not food quality or portion to cost ratio. My only dining experience wasn't memorable at all. 17.55 for 6 wings is way overpriced. My

Our very first visit here. I ordered the special top sirloin chimichurri steak. My steak was rubbery, overdone, and I couldn’t eat it. It was almost like the meat had been frozen and quickly thawed for today. My husband had the chicken fried steak. That portion was huge and very tasty! I ended up eating some of his meal instead of mine. He had some broccoli on his plate that looked as if it was from a steamer bag, and poured straight from that, overdone, mushy and unseasoned. Their fried pickles were the best thing we tasted from the night! I don’t think we’d return just for that though. Sadly, the meal was very disappointing... My friend recommended this place to me. The water was awful, they seriously need a water filter, Topeka has horrible bleach/metal tasting water. Our service was spotty, they were really busy though. I should have mentioned to our server how awful our food was, but she was running around like crazy waiting on several tables. It’s a beautiful restaurant inside and we loved the atmosphere. But, the taste of disappointment wasn’t what we expected on our date night.
