in the last weekGood food - but excellent service. Wait staff was limited & kitchen slow we were told by our server because of a sponsored event - but she & management offered to comp part of our bill due to extended delay. A nice touch and very much appreciated.

in the last weekI have visited Brigade 4 different times in the past year. I really wanted to like this place and initially looked at it for an event I was having. It's a very pretty restaurant. What I have struggle with is the lack of service- from any type of greeting when entering to sitting at the bar with slow service when it wasn't even crowded. The bartenders seem to be more interested in talking with each other, rather than keeping an eye on their customers. On each visit, we had to flag the bartender down while we sat with empty glasses. What really made me write this poor review, is each time we have sat at the bar- they just pile up dirty glassware next to us where we were eating. When I asked the bartender why they don't clean up the glassware, he snapped they are just trying to keep up... even though they only had 8 guests at the bar. When we left, we had no acknowledgment from anyone. This restaurant is lacking basic hospitality 101 training and oversight of their management team. There are much better restaurants in Bozeman where the servers are happy to see you.

in the last weekAvoid this restaurant. We had dinner at Brigade with my family. When the check was presented, there was an automatic 25% gratuity plus a 3% service charge for using a credit card. None of these fees where disclosed on the menu, so I was totally shocked and displeased. I have eaten thousands of restaurant meals in my life and never ever had fees like this added.

in the last weekWas in town and had made a reservation for Saturday night. Seated quickly, my server appeared within two minutes and was completely engaged. I started with a small summer salad that could have fed two, followed by the bison short rib which was luxurious. Wine by the glass was easy as they had a few great selections that paired well with everything. My server was thoughtfully attentive, I could not have had a better customer experience. Wrapped up with the Basque cheesecake which made the night a total victory. Go to Brigade if you enjoy being well treated.

in the last weekChloe, Rafi, Luke, and Blake curated an incredible brunch experience. The dirty martinis were excellent, and the chorizo omelet was too. Highly recommend.
