a week agoPretty building and good food but overpriced. My friend and I had a very poor experience. We walked in together and I headed to the bathroom and she waited to be seated. The host followed me to the bathroom (male) and talked to me twice while I was trying to enter the bathroom. I answered his questions even though I felt uncomfortable and I later found out he told my friend who is now looking at the menu displayed outside that she is doing a “big no-no”. She apologized even though she did not know what he was talking about. We were uncomfortable the whole meal due to this encounter and the waiter was not friendly and did not introduce himself to us. When we exited I told the host to never follow a woman to the bathroom ever again and he apologized and stated that management requires him to due to homeless people coming in to use the bathroom(which I doubt he was instructed to follow people to the bathroom). I reassured him my friend and I were not doing this or are homeless and said his behavior made us so uncomfortable we did not enjoy the meal or even want to stay for the meal. I was surprised he apologized.

3 weeks agoGluten Free Haven! Others have already posted the menu which is marked with many items that are gluten free or can be made Gluten free. The fryer is NOT gluten free, so don't order anything that is fried. I had the Fillet mignon with red skin mashed potatoes (may have bacon mixed in) and asparagus. My husband and I split the Harvest salad. All the salads listed are "entree sized", but they can make any of them a "side salad". Since they split the full sized, it was brought in two separate smaller bowls. I was expecting us to just pick at the big salad. Everything was delicious. I recommend calling ahead for a reservation. They are very popular. We went early at 4:45 and had to wait until 5 to be seated when they opened the upstairs.

3 weeks agoPacked. Interestingly most of the other eateries around were empty so that was a good sign. Interesting menu. Friendly service. Delicious food and plenty of it. Decent prices. Had my first Poutine and I think I'm still living off it a week later!
