a week agoI came with my two kids (ages 4 & 6). A large portion of the kids area only allows kids 5 years and under. Since I came without my spouse, it was impossible for me to watch both kids in the separate areas. In my (unsolicited) opinion, the area with the age restriction seems appropriate for older kids too. It doesn’t seem like a baby section at all and my 6 year old was bummed to not be allowed in. They have a small crawler area blacked off for toddlers which makes total sense but having the rest of an extremely large exhibit have such a small age range was frustrating. The staff was also extremely rude and seemed so bothered by excited children. My kids were told multiple times to settle down, don’t touch breakables in the gift shop (before they touched), ect. The energy was so strange for a place that seems primarily geared towards kids.

a month agoWhat a treat it was to visit the Exploreum today! The Galileo exhibit was incredible. But the absolute best part was our tour guide Camille. Her passion for science made it our experience so much better. If you can, make sure you go when she’s working because she made our day so awesome. 10/10 museum experience for our homeschooling family.
