Nice hilly short trail.
I love this trail for a quick trip to get some good forest-bathing and a 1.1 mile hike. A few obstacles on the trail from fallen trees, and parts can be quite steep and muddy depending on recent weather. I appreciate the updated signs for the landmark trees too!
Great trail and surprisingly difficult pn a few sections. I bring my dog here a lot. I personally haven't found any ticks on her or myself at the time of this review. It can get a little buggy, spiderwebs and mosquitoes and hanging worms are pretty common here. You will also see docile chipmunks, blue jays, towhees, and plenty more cool birds. I've seen blue jays and chipmunks all around the entrance and signage when it's quiet. Definitely recommend coming here.
