in the last weekOMG GREENFIRE! My family and I are in from Atlanta, GA, were looking for a restaurant near our hotel, and we found GreenFire Restaurant. We got in and we were seated almost immediately without a reservation. Our server was Jaylee and she was absolutely awesome! She greeted us with kindness and enthusiasm (while we had none after a day of travel🥲), which made us excited to dine here! We started off with drinks; I got the Upper Manhattan which was crafted to perfection, and my mom got a East Side which was most refreshing (notes of cucumber, lemon, and delicious gin… highly recommend). My family and I started off with the Beef Bruschetta which came with 4 pieces of crostini served with melty cheese and delicious beef, perfect for a simple appetizer to get us excited about our entrees. IF YOU GO TO GREENFIRE PLEASE DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND GET THE BEEF BRUSCHETTA!! Warm bread and butter was also brought over which you absolutely cannot go wrong with. For entrees, my family got the Tomato Mozzarella Salad with the Salmon (light and very well seasoned), the Beef Bolognese (the cheese pull and size of the dish was immaculate), the Chicken Crepe (my mom said “oh buddy, that was really delicious!”), and the Shrimp Mediterranean Salad which was super filling and extra yummy. Overall the food was amazing and the service was superb!! Shoutout to Jaylee for the warm on-top-of-it service and GreenFire for being a new Illinois staple of ours!! 5 stars no complaint:) The only thing I will say was the tables were super close together, but it gave the restaurant a cozy vibe, and even with the compact layout, the restaurant ran a tight ship! Also our food came out extremely fast and at great quality, and I think that stands alone as a pillar for GreenFire Restaurant! Go here! My family and I highly recommendddddd!!!!

in the last weekFood is very good and atmosphere is nice. Especially the bison burger, ribs, lamb burger, oyster Rockefeller, bacon wrapped shrimp, bruschettas, and loaded bloody mary. Each section has its own personality...last time my husband and I sat in the inner part which was more intimate and dim. This time it was a group setting next to a lit window and wood decor. They have a shooting sparkler on the birthday cake slice served at the end, so definitely let them know if there's a birthday or special occasion. I haven't tried everything on the menu yet, and they got rid of their foie gras, but will be back. Service was excellent.
