a month agoThe campsite was situated on the top of a cliff, which wasn’t bad in and of itself, but I was hoping to be able to access the water from the campsite, which was not possible. Our campsite was pretty close to two other campsites- so much so that at times we could hear the other campers’ conversations. The campsite was nice though, and had a fire ring, picnic table, water spigot, electrical outlet, and a convenient spot for our tent. There was also some chopped firewood already at our site. It wasn’t bad, but I doubt I’ll be back

2 months agoThe only negative for us was that they lock the gate at 10pm and there is no code. We were unable to go to the 7:30 tip Alabama hoops game that we had planned on. Staff and facilities were great.

2 months agoNice and peaceful. It is probably 30 minutes off the expressway. FYI some of the pull-thru sites still require backing up to enter or exit.
