a month agoBe aware of your bill if you dine here. I ordered a takeout King salmon for $50, but it turned out to be only a tiny 2–3 oz piece of salmon with no sides, which was very disappointing for the price. To make matters worse, we received additional bills that were not ours twice after we left. We disputed the charges, and the hotel staff told us they would investigate and get back to us. Unfortunately, we never received any follow-up. This was a very disappointing experience—the poor value of the meal and the billing issues. This showed management problems. I recommend carefully reviewing your bill and credit card statement if you dine here.

a month agoI’ve stayed at Hotel Nia probably close to 10 times over the last few years and this was by far my worst experience there. Being a long time Marriot member this was not a good experience at all. When we checked in, we were given two rooms that were not connecting, even though I had specifically requested connecting rooms. I followed up with the front desk to get this fixed, and they confirmed we had connecting rooms. When we got to the rooms, they were not connected. Staff told us they had no rooms available. The team did not seem trained to handle the situation or offer real solutions. We went up to the rooms, walked in, and opened the bathroom door to find a leak coming from the floor above, with water dripping down through the light fixture onto the toilet. We reported this to the front desk right away. They eventually found us connecting rooms, so we gave up our suite to get the correct setup. My wife and youngest daughter had to move all of our belongings to the new room by themselves. Nobody came up to help with the luggage despite us asking for assistance. Given how many good stays we’ve had here in the past, this one was disappointing on almost every level: the room mix-up, the leak, and the lack of support from staff throughout. Needless to say, we will not be back for a very long time if ever.
