It's a great hike. The Indian Staircase Trail is an unofficial and challenging scramble up a steep, rocky face. The first and last sections are on park maintained trails. The Indian Staircase section requires some scrambled on exposed rock faces. Beatiful views and scenery.

Awesome views but honestly stay off the staircase portion. Handholds are non-existent and footholds aren't far behind. If you slip there's nothing to stop a serious fall.

It's a good hike I took a star off for tourism Has glued bolts for rappeling The scramble up the last part of the staircase is cool Good views as well overall a solid hike undoubtedly just too many tourists Difficult to park on weekends, the parking lot is tiny
