4 years agoHaving an instructor like David for the song writing/production workshop was amazing!! He was very supportive, as is the rest of the group who is in the class. I thought that I had to know how to read sheet music, and know all the technological terminology and mechanics of how to create a song/melody/beat, but this class is opened to all levels. Which was a great relief for me David really helped me feel comfortable being in the group and not feel so reserved/uneducated about music. The other best part besides David as an instructor is the rest of the classmates. They also give you feedback on your work and aren’t judgmental at all. They give you tips on certain programs they used in the beginning to help them out which is great! I really enjoyed being in the class, and would definitely recommend a fellow music lover to try it out! ❤️

4 years agoI really cannot say enough good things about Singing Lessons NYC. From day 1 Ellie and Hazel were amazing at putting me at ease, answering my beginner's questions, and connecting me with the right instructors. They really go out of their way to create a welcoming environment for new singers (and experienced singers too I'm sure). The school also has some really amazing instructors. I am working with Taylor right now, and he's a marvel. I am really astounded by the progress that I have made since we began working together, and I put most of that down to Taylor's ability to patiently iterate on new approaches with me, looking for ones that fit my voice, my place in my singing journey and my learning style. I feel like this is the most progress that I have made in a long while, and now I have all of these new areas of my voice to continue to explore. This is exactly what I was looking for. Highly recommended!
