2 weeks agoI used to bring my children here years ago, but unfortunately we did not renew our membership for the following reasons: 1. While it is a fun place, I think prices are too high. 2. It’s very alarming that the second largest homeless encampment borders this children’s museum. I personally don’t feel safe. It’s unfortunate that these homeless encampments neighbor family attractions throughout the city (parks, schools, etc,). 3. The last time I was there, they redid one of the exhibits. The new paint smell was extremely toxic. I’m not sure what kind of paint they’re using, but if it smells that strongly and lingers for weeks afterwards, it’s probably not the safest paint option for children. You will notice all the many layers of paint over the years on walls, trim, window frames. 4. Hours are inconvenient at times. Closed on Mondays. Opens at 10am. They should probably consider opening earlier for members or extend hours. I don’t know of any other incentives for memberships but maybe that can be one of them especially since it can get crowded during certain days and window times. That’s my honest and fair review.

a month agoOne of the best kids museums we have ever been to. My son run around for hours. He had so much fun. We had a lunch break and then came back for more fun. There are areas outside where kids can play. The labyrinth was amazing. It is huge and it can be really scary when you loose your kid inside, but they always find their way. When we visited it was cold and kind of wet but still fun to play around. There are tons of interactive activities inside and the hula size bubble machine was a huge hit. We will definitely be back when the weather is much nicer.

a month agoMy one compliant is I wish they were open past 5pm at least some days because parents have to work and life doesn't run on a 10 to 5 time frame. Other than that, great place for families!
