a week agoWas not expecting a shut gate that added 1.5 miles (.75 each way) to the hike. The road is steeper than the trail and all uphill coming back out. The falls and beach are beautiful and worth the hike. I would caution those with mobility issues and heart issues, as the last 20 ft from the trail to beach is steep and steps are tall. If you have issues, plan on taking longer than normal and expecting to stop to rest on the way out.

2 weeks agoBeautiful waterfalls! The hike in was an easy 1.1 miles. Coming out it is pretty much uphill. Expect a gravel road and no clear signage going in. GPS got us there. No restrooms available. (All of this is for info - not complaints!) The hike was totally worth it. Watch for Water Moccasins. We met a really chunky one!
