Route 66 Hand Car Wash

I have been coming to this place for years, and always had a good experience until today. After seeing some of the other reviews here, I understand why. There is apparently a new owner who is terrible at doing business. When I went to pay and told the person at the register the price I was told by the person who was washing my car, he ran my card for that price but a minute later he accosted me and called me a liar saying I lied to him about the price I was quoted. He told me he was the owner. I was extremely taken aback by the aggressiveness which didn’t feel warranted. I said there must be some misunderstanding but no problem, I’d pay the difference. This should’ve been the end of the situation. I went back inside to run my card again but the owner was already editing the transaction and forged my signature on the machine. I pointed out that it was a shady way to do business and he followed me out to keep calling me a liar and insisted I owed him an apology for lying. The level of aggression and hostility from the owner was disturbing, and I thought he might actually physically lash out. He stood by my open car door and kept arguing and calling me a liar until I insisted I had to go because he kept arguing and calling me a liar. As I drove off I saw him taking a photo of my car and license place. Needless to say, there’s no way I will be returning to this place.

Worst place ever. They literally didn’t wash my car, I’ve never experienced service so terrible. Like seriously so unprofessional, I felt unsafe, especially as a woman, the proclaimed owner was super rude and honestly seemed like he was going to get physical.

I am client for many years. And this last time I got really surprised with the job. My car was super dirty and they made a miracle. Thanks
